Sizing Your Watch

Sizing Your Watch (Calibre Madrid)

A properly sized watch should feel secure and comfortable, not tight and not sliding excessively.

1) Measure your wrist

Use a flexible measuring tape or a string.

  • Wrap it around your wrist where you wear your watch

  • Mark the measurement and compare to a ruler

2) Fit guide

  • Snug fit: minimal movement, comfortable contact

  • Comfort fit: slight movement, most common

  • Loose fit: more movement, best for larger cases (not recommended for all-day wear)

3) Adjusting the bracelet

Many of our watches can be adjusted by removing links.

If you have a link adjustment tool:

  • Place the bracelet flat

  • Align the pin with the tool’s push point

  • Slowly turn the tool to push the pin out

  • Remove the necessary links evenly from both sides when possible

  • Reinsert the pin securely

4) If you are unsure

If you are not comfortable adjusting the bracelet yourself, a local jeweler can usually size a watch in minutes.
