Sizing Your Watch
Sizing Your Watch (Calibre Madrid)
A properly sized watch should feel secure and comfortable, not tight and not sliding excessively.
1) Measure your wrist
Use a flexible measuring tape or a string.
-
Wrap it around your wrist where you wear your watch
-
Mark the measurement and compare to a ruler
2) Fit guide
-
Snug fit: minimal movement, comfortable contact
-
Comfort fit: slight movement, most common
-
Loose fit: more movement, best for larger cases (not recommended for all-day wear)
3) Adjusting the bracelet
Many of our watches can be adjusted by removing links.
If you have a link adjustment tool:
-
Place the bracelet flat
-
Align the pin with the tool’s push point
-
Slowly turn the tool to push the pin out
-
Remove the necessary links evenly from both sides when possible
-
Reinsert the pin securely
4) If you are unsure
If you are not comfortable adjusting the bracelet yourself, a local jeweler can usually size a watch in minutes.
